I recently planned and organized a public science exhibition on antibiotic resistance at my school.
From a "One Health" perspective, the exhibition demonstrated how drug-resistant bacteria spread through environmental channels such as livestock and poultry farming, pet ownership, and rivers and soil. It also systematically explained the mechanisms behind antibiotic resistance—from how the overuse of antibiotics causes bacterial gene mutations to the transfer of resistance genes between different species.
The venue also features interactive DIY activities, allowing visitors to understand the concept of “symbiotic health between humans and pets” through hands-on crafting.
The exhibition is accompanied by explanatory videos and display panels featuring case studies.
